Pro round terms

You accept these when you pay for a Pro round on TestFi. They sit alongside the Terms of Service and, for a Pro round, apply where the two differ.

1. 01

   A Pro round is 5 or 10 testers, depending on the package that TestFi chooses, each recording their screen on their own device while they talk through your tasks and answer your questions out loud. Most TestFi testers are in Nigeria, Kenya and India. A Pro round shows where people get stuck and what they do not understand; it is not research on your local market.

2. 02

   Your round starts in the week shown before you pay. After you pay, you send a brief. We turn it into a test plan and send it to you, and nothing starts until you approve it. The summary report reaches you by email within 5 business days of that approval.

3. 03

   Your app has to stay installable for testers for 10 days from approval, at the link in your brief. If testers cannot install it, the round waits until they can, and the 5 business days start again.

4. 04

   A person checks every session. A session that misses the brief is replaced with another tester at no cost. Changes to the plan after you approve it go into a new round.

5. 05

   We do not offer refunds. If a round cannot run, the payment can be put towards another TestFi campaign instead.

6. 06

   These terms sit alongside the Developer Terms of Service and, for a Pro round, apply where the two differ. The version you accept at checkout is saved with your round and governs it.
